Aftercare
To ensure proper healing and minimize the risk of complications after laser tattoo removal, it's important to follow some aftercare instructions. These may include keeping the treated area clean and dry, avoiding sun exposure.

-
The area could potentially be red and swollen, ice immediately and ensure that you do this regularly.
-
There will be white frosting visible on the area post treatment, this will disappear after a couple of minutes once product has been applied to the skin.
-
Do not apply heat to the area
-
Do not apply any chemicals or active ingredients to the area too.
-
Apply the barrier cream daily.
-
Do not pick or scratch the area
-
Apply SPF to the area.
-
Keep arm or leg area elevated to ensure proper circulation and minimize swelling.
-
Shout the area scab, let the scabs detach naturally. Scratching the area will result in scarring.
-
Apply on the barrier cream recommended by your laser therapist.
-
If you blister, do not pop the area but rather do a lymphatic massage around the tattoo to stimulate lymphatic drainage.
-
Consult your therapist should the area be painful or swollen after a week.
