How many session would I require?
This is all depending on the amount of pigment in the skin, how old the pigment is, how many layers of pigment and then lastly scarring. You can expect between 4-9 session

Does it cause scarring?
picosecond laser can cause some temporary damage to the skin, but it is designed to stimulate the body's natural healing process and promote the growth of new, healthy skin cells. Picosecond laser does not cause scarring, as long as the client follow correct aftercare.

Is there any downtime with laser tattoo removal?
Yes, there is typically some downtime associated with laser tattoo removal. The treated area may be red, swollen, and tender for a few days after the procedure, and scabbing or blistering may occur. It's important to follow aftercare instructions to ensure proper healing and minimize the risk of complications.

When can i book a follow up appointment?
Appointments can take place between 6-8 weeks depending on your skin type.

Is Picosecond laser suitable for dark skin?
Yes, picosecond laser is suitable for dark skin. It is a safe and effective treatment option for individuals with darker skin tones.

Do you apply numbing cream prior to laser?
Yes numbing cream can be applied prior to treatment. You will be required to purchase a small amount of numbing cream from our studio and apply this 20minutes prior to the treatment. You will be asked to come 20 minutes earlier to your scheduled appointment in order to numb sufficiently. Please do not numb yourself!

Can I do removal if i am pregnant?
No, you cannot do removal when pregnant or breastfeeding. Please check contraindications and be sure you are eligible for this treatment before making a booking.

Will I experience swelling, redness?
Yes, this is possible depending on your skin types and the situation. Certain areas of the face a body to swell. The eyes, the brow area and potentially be swollen and tender after the treatment but with regular icing, it will be back to normal the following day. There is generally no discomfort the following day and some skin types do not swell at all. It really is dependent on the individual.

How does laser work?

Laser will cause the pigment to shatter into a million pieces and then its the body that will break down the pigment and expose of it through the lymphatic system. This process can take time and every individual is different, so there is no guarantee as to how long this process will take.

Can I work out after laser?
​
Its advised to not exercise 24/48 hours after having laser procedure done.
