Lip Blush aftercare

  • Ice the area immediately after the procedure, use a cold compress and do not put direct ice onto the area

  • Apply the lip gel that is supplied to you daily

  • Do no pick, scratch or bite the area as this will effect your healed results

  • Wipe the lips with a cotton round and warm water for the first 24 hours post procedure. After this you can just apply your cream

  • The color will be at its darkest the next day, please be advised that this is only temporary and the color will soften over the next week.

  • Do not eat spicy, hot or salt foods after the procedure

  • Try drink through a straw to savor the color.

  • Do not exercise sweat or go into the sauna after the procedure.

  • Touch ups need to happen 6 weeks after the procedure to guarantee even healed work.

Lip blushing is cosmetic tattooing procedure enhances the natural color and shape of the lips. It involves depositing pigment into the lips using a small needle, resulting in a subtle, long-lasting tint. The procedure can also help to the lips and create a fuller appearance.

 

How long does it last?

Lip Blushing can last anywhere between 1-3 years depending on your lifestyle and color choice.  Sun exposure can prematurely fade out pigment. So be sure to wear sunblock when your lip blush is healed.

How long is the appointment?

Appointments can take up to 2.5hrs. Touch ups are 1.5hrs.

Can Lip Blushing be done on dark lips?

Yes you can, however it is a process and requires a consult first. It can take between 3-4 sessions to color correct the lips and introduce a target color. Its a process.

Is it painful?

Local and secondary numbing is used to numb the area and is extremely comfortable.

How many sessions is required?

Generally 2 sessions is required to complete process.

Will my lips be swollen?

Yes your lips will be slightly swollen but it will subside within 24 hours if you ice the area regularly.

If i suffer from cold sores can I do lip blush?

Yes you can however you will need to get a prescription from your doctor to prevent a flair up. If you have ever gotten a cold sore EVER in your life, you need meds. Please contact your doctor should you wish to continue with the treatment.

Is lip blushing better than fillers?

It does not replace filler, we cannot make the lip bigger. It can give the illusion that the lips are bigger but if you have thin lips are you wish to do filler, its advised to get this done first prior to your lip blush appointment.
